If you do it right, it'll sound good. Otherwise, it'll sound pukey.
Here's a vid of my 347 car. My exhaust setup is a true dual (no crossover) one cat on the end of each pipe dumped before the axle. It's the SICKEST sounding setup I have ever heard.

He was talking about straight pipes. Yours has cats on them. Muffles the sound a hell of a lot.
Your 347 is a ton quiter than my 347 is for sure. My exhaust is an off road h pipe and flowmasters american thunders, no cats.
