I have a DL in my '65 fastback and have racked up several thousand miles on it with no issues mechanically or audibly.

How is it when you make a sharp turn? Do the rear tires hop or squeal?

my friend has one in his 04 cobra with a locker in it along with a solid 9 inch, its fine on the street, ive driven it, and when making sharp turns you just hear the locker racheting, sounds like a rollercoaster going up the first hill.

I have one and I do drive the car alot. It takes a little getting used to, they actually give you a sheet that tells you what the car is going to act like. It isn't anything horrible. Makes some interesting sounds at times, turning tight at slow rpm's.
