Stripes help and stuff

I just got a new 2011 Mustang. I am an old guy and I tend to think different than most. This is my last car and I want to do a few things for it.

I think I want to have rally/racing stripes full length, up over the top and down across my rear window louvers and trunk lid and back.

But I want to do something a little or a lot different with them. Everyone has plain old stripes on cars. I don't want plain old stripes. I plan to do this with decal graphics. If I get tired of them or don't like them I can remove them.

Aurora Graphics.net has some nice looking ones. I may want to add something to the sides later. I have about worn out my computer searching for what I want. It is hard to find what you want when you don't know what it is.

The car is Ingot Silver if that helps with your ideas/suggestions.

I have always sort of listened to a different drummer. I am a guy who built a continental kit on my new 55 Chevy and split the manifold on my 39 Chevy coupe and have a 65 Mustang Fastback saved to ride to the cemetery in.

So folks, give me some help with suggestions

I think its awesome you are wanting something a little different. One thing I wouldn't do is put the stripes over the louvers.....just my opinion though.

You could do some type of flame stripes, tribal stripes, lightining type stripes....really anything you can imagine can be done. How about an off center racing stripe? Those can look pretty cool.

Either way you go, remember, this is your car and what others think doesn't really matter. It is nice to have others like it though...

Here is what I did. They are 12" wide each, which is a little bigger than most people go.

I am thinking about stripes only on my factory hood scoop and pedestal wing.
Haven't done it because I am not certain if I would like it.
