I was in the middle of my final torque sequence when my last clutch bolt stripped out the threads in the flywheel.

They are completely gone.

Question is, does anyone know if this can be repaired??

Or am i better off just spending the $100 for a new Ford flywheel from summitt?

But i totally stripped it. It's just a smooth bore now. I'd need to prob need to helicoil it just to get it to grab.

It's kinda ike i don't want to take a chance. Last thing i want to do is button it all up and have a vibration and then have to do it all over.

yea, in the long run what is $100? get the new flywheel. FWIW I just picked one up for my project car on corral for $50. if you're not in a hurry deals are out there.
or if you have no moral qualms buy one from autozone, put the old one in the new box and return it saying you dont need it. I could never go through with that, but its just a thought.
