O.K. Everybody. I am looking at a 331 stroker upgrade. I have posted a couple Q's about Exhaust and Intake and I guess I need to be a little more specific with what I want my final outcome to be so you guys can give me your opinions. First, here are my specs. 95 GT:
Edelbrock Performer RPM Heads (out the box)
1.7 Roller Rockers/Lifters
Pullies, CAI
MAC shorties, equal length
Diablo Sport Tune
70 MM TB
3:73s
Now, this is what I would like..... This is my Weekend/Special occasion driver. I want low end torgue but as much as I can in the top end. But most interested in low end torque for driving around town. Eventually a supercharger, only want 6-9psi, but that is a few years down the road. I would like to see 350rwhp and high 300s rwtq. The only time I would take this it to the track would be for sh_ts and giggles. I just want something that I would take for a ride to the store and have a little fun. Your opinions are appreciated everybody.

I would add to the above parts, shoot for atleast 10:1cr, Edel RPM intake, 30lb inj, minimum 75mm MAF, ditch the shorties and get some decent 1 5/8" LTs than either a custom cam or something like Crower 15513 cam. Ought to easily hit your numbers and make for one fun street car!

I ran 9.7:1cr and had a cam that had 224ish duration in my 331 because I wanted what you want...torque. It was much much too mild for a street car and I should have went with more cam. I never really got to use all the torque because traction was an issue and wished I could have spun it higher than 5500 for more HP. Trust me you will too.
