stroker or forced induction

should i go with a n/a stroker kit for my 351w or for a forced induction set up for it? its going in a 4 speed 69 mustang grande, not sure on rear end gears, but im upgrading that to a 9 inch so im gonna get new gears anyway, not sure what yet though, thanks

You'd get more power out of the forced induction setup, but you'd get better reliability and "ease of use" out of a stroker setup.

Technically 14PSI of boost is the same as doubleing the displacement of your engine. However, some of that horsepower is used up by driving the super/turbo charger.
 
Stroke her (the Mustang) and then force it (the air) in. You and your girl will be very satisfied.

I like getting stroked, but being blown is best.

Seriously, do a good durable stroker.
As long as you have an acceptable rod ratio, the engine will live the longest and be the most user friendly as big cube N/A.

Do you have any specific hp or 1/4 mile goals in mind? The stroker is defiently simplier. And most likely cost less. Unless you want alittle more uniqueness the stoker, as most everyone else here has siad, would be yer best bet, but again its all up to you
