Strut Brace Clearance Issue

I bought a Boss 302 strut brace for my 07 Shelby GT because I have read in several places that it will fit AND clear my E Force supercharger. It clears the engine fine, but the hood doesn't clear it. Is there some kind of adjustment I'm missing, or does it just work on the GT, and not the Shelby GT? Has anyone run into this?

That's odd it should fit and I don't see how it could be installed incorrectly. Does the Shelby GT have a different hood? I know the Hertz Shelbys do, but the regular Shelby GT looks like it has a factory Mustang hood with a scoop added. Can you post some pics?

Hood looks good on the pics, a closer look where it hits would help. Beautiful Shelby GT

I figured it out. The inner cooler tank bracket mounts on the same bolts on the right side. Brace was bumping there. Had to "adjust" the bracket...

Glad you figured it out.The Shelby lettering on the brace is a nice touch.
