Then they should also know (like everyone else) that a 2-point strut tower brace isn't all that rigid to begin with when compared to a 3 or a 4-point. If strenth was an issue because of a couple of extra bends, then a larger diameter, heavier guage tubing could have been used to compensate for it. It's not even DOM tubing, which is stiffer.
