Strut-Tower brace for 07 GT - Plenum Cover

Where is your air filter? I didn't think Prochargers worked with STB's.

I fabricated it to work with the original procharger filter location, but you may want to go here and learn a bit about my current layout:

Here's how it looked previous:

I have a Steeda billet strut brace ovver a Mid West technologies plenum cover although I'm not sure I can recommend it at all. The reason is that the bar itself which connects the two billet strut top mounts is rose-jointed. I assume that it's rose-jiointed to stop too much stress being placed on the billet pieces but you can only adjust the bar a turn at a time and the only position it will bolt down on allows the bar to swivel fore and aft sligtly which actrualy rubs on the plenum. So I had to use pipe cladding on the bar to support it on the plenum. It begs the question, if it can swivel, whether it actually does anthing.

I'm confused about the fitment... That Strange brace looks like it clears the plenum by a square mile, yet while the GT500 STB hugs the plenum cover it will contact the hood/liner preventing the hood from closing properly.

I didn't bother with the washers because the amount of bulge from the passenger side was about 1/4". I'd have to shim the bar by that amount to clear whatever obstruction there was. I suspect it was just the thickness of the insulator. Hopefully there wasn't any permanent damage to the hood or the hinges.
