Hello folks, I am buying a 94/95 Cobra intake for my car Friday and need to find a strut tower brace that will clear the new intake. My car is a vert and it needs all of the help in can get in the chassis stiffening department.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah I was prepared to order a BBK gripp strut tower brace from JEGS and then read on their Q&A section that it wouldn't fit, I don't want to order the wrong part and have to worry about sending it back. Does anyone know if the STEEDA piece will fit?

Thanks again.

My Maximum Motorsports brace fits great and made a noticeable difference taking corners. '95 convertible with Xbrace, subframes and Cobra intake.

I think I will go with the maximum motorsports brace, it looks to be well constructed. I can't wait to get the Cobra intake installed and see if it makes a difference in the midrange and top end over the asthmatic stock intake.

If you can find a 96-98 Cobra brace cheap they will work as well. You will need to pocket the corner between the intake and the brace on driver side about a half a inch. This brace works well with a KB on our cars too.

the bbk fits around my track heat intake, so i'm sure it would fit around the cobra. also, ford racing makes one.

Thanks for the info everyone, the engine shots were great. Jegs has a good price on the Ford Racing brace so I think I will go that route. I'll take some pics when I get the Cobra intake and the STB installed.
