strut tower brace???

i was thinking of puttin a strut tower brace in....is it an easy install and will i feel a difference in the handling at all will it feel stiffer???

Install difficulty depends on which one you go with. Some like the Kenny Brown are simple installs, others like the EvM take quitea a while.

As long as you get a good three or more point brace, you'll feel the difference especially in hard corners.

Kenny brown strut was one of the first mods I did and I can tell you mine was not that easy. Since 2001 I believe they have made some changes because mine bolted thru the firewall and also took the place of the stock caster plates. So after the install I ended up needing a quick wheel alignment. I will tell you thou that sub frames connectors are a lot more noticeable then the strut brace…

You ropinion is true. SFC's make the most difference.
The KB still mounts as you described, but a quick alignment check is easy to most people than drilling all the extra holes other brands use to mount at the strut tower. The KB is a very nice piece.

The EvM unit is the bear. It's a 6-point brace and requires drilling 8 holes, adjusting the height and width and relocating some stock parts. It's very nice, but installation takes forever.

well i have the shaker system so i was gonna go with the mach 1 strut tower brace from mustang tuning is this a good one?

The Mach brace is good, but watch which one you get. There's a two point and a three point and you'll want the three point.

I have FRPP one, and it was bit pain to install. as far as handling goes....I can't tell if it changed or not. but with my car lowered, I figuredd its a good investment

If you get a chance, thread the holes so it can bolt in.

The nut / washer / bolt bit is a pain to install and remove, especially around the firewall.

I have a Kenny Brown, and do to the impending KenneBell, I ordered a Maximum Motorsports bar.

The reason is that everytime you have to take the sway bar off, your alignment gets screwed up with the Kenny Brown one.
