I did a search on this topic but didn't find quite what I was looking for.
I'm looking into purchasing a Strut Tower Brace for my '89, and I see that Maximum Motorsports claims that their brace is the only design that won't end up cracking the firewall because it mounts at the pinchwelds instead of at the thin sheetmetal near the cowl.
I understand the logic of their claim, but I was just curious as to everyone's opinions. BBK, Ford Motorsports, MAC, etc. all make essentially similar looking and similar designed Strut Tower Braces, has anyone used them for a while and found problems similar to the claim that MM makes? Also, any other personal experience as far as installation issues or interference issues wouldn't hurt either.
Thanks.
