Check my sig and "my garage"... I am not sure what to get next... PI Heads? PI Intake Manifold? Headers? Engine (Really long wait.. Need to save)...

Now.. I know the stock short block could take about 400 HP to the rear wheels and I have no idea what HP I am pushing. So any mod I buy might push it higher than that 400 threshold.. So, is the answer to save up for a new long block? Or, mod the stock motor to the max until it blows on me??? That is the rut I am stuck in.. HELP!!

i would think that you are already pretty close to the 400hp mark. If i know some people who have pushed the engines to 450-500hp and they hold up pretty good but yes you are getting close to the limits of the stock block. I think you should start saving for your new block.

um...far as I'm aware the stock GT block is good for 700hp or more...its the stock rods/pistons that start giving out early...

Id stay away from the headswap as that will raise your compression to an unfriendly c/r for the boost. Maybe suspension or a new shortblock would be better spent money.
