hey I was wondering if you can help me please, I have an 87 5.0 speed density my mods are headers,x pipe pullies aluminum drive shaft and 3.55 I dont know the milage but its pretty high and I figured no more mods till I get my new engine and tranny. But any ways my problem is when I'm at a stop light the idle goes up and down, i checked my timing and to my knowledge its supposed to be at 10btdc. It also stutters real bad when I give it to much gas and wants to choke but it doesnt turn off and some times it I ll hit the gas and it gets stuck nothing happens till I let the gas. do you have any suggestions.
Also i can only accelerate slowly or hit it @ WOT if not it start to stumble and wants to die. In the morning my idle will be at 1500 rpm. I turn the car off and then back on and the it will idle at about 800 rpm. At lights idle will bounce up and down.
