Lately, I have been tuning my car with the TwEECer, working on the injector slopes, so I have to disconnect the battery alot to reset the computer. One time, the ratchet slipped and it fell down onto the metal connector between the battery and the power steering pump! The ratchet was so hot when I got it off!
Luckily, else nothing seems to have burned up.
Has this happened to anyone else? Any other problems I should look for?
What a stupid place for that A/C line. Now I put a rag over the A/C line every time I mess with the battery.
I need to hook up a switch to reset the computer without having to disconnect the battery.
