Stupid question about air bag trouble codes

I'm a newbie to stangnet and getting my flame-retardant underwear on...but here goes:

My 92 GT's air bag warning light is flashing a "52", which I've heard is no biggie (backup power supply fault). I located info for clearing the trouble codes for '94 Mustangs, involving shorting circuit 57 to 631 on the trouble code clear connector beneath the glove box. Problem is, Mustangs changed quite a bit after '93 (duh) and the info for the '94 probably doesn't apply to the '92. Any of you have experience with this? Or know how much dealers typically charge for code clearing (it's Sunday, otherwise I'd call a dealer)?

Personally, if it weren't for the state inspection due next month, I wouldn't give a rat's rump about this "problem". Thanks for any advice.

For Code 52 the most common problem is the Airbag Diagnostic Monitor, to verify it, disconnect the Battery then unplug the Monitor and measure Resistance from Pin 15 to Ground, if Resistance is higher than 1000 Ohms then the Monitor is bad.
