I used velcro to hold my radar detector to my dash (terrible idea) because my suction cup mount kept popping off of the window. Now that it's summertime, the velcro glue melted and left a mess all over my dash. Is there anything I can use to get that nastyness out?

I made the same mistake with my F150 but its been parked since April so I haven't tried getting it off. Needless to say when I got the Stang I tried the suction cups and ended up going with a visor bracket.

I did the same thing on my old explorer, I think what i ended up doing was using some "goo gone". You can buy it at any auto parts store...

I found another product that works pretty well, it's a 3M adhesive remover. I sprayed it on the dash, let it sit for about 5 minutes, and the glue basically just rubbed off

Or you could go as simple as Glass cleaner and a rag.. give her some good ol' elbow gresse.. shouldnt be all that hard to get off.. just let the glass cleaner sit on it for a few minutes.. you'll be fine..
