Stupid TIming Question

i have a 70 coupe with a stock 302 to advance the timing i turn the dist clockwise or counter clockwise?

you always turn the distributor in the opposite direction of its rotation to advance the ignition timing. in this case since distributor rotation is counter clockwise you turn the distributor clockwise.

pull on the vac advance pod, this way you never mess up no matter what make or direction it turns
