I got Total Control Products subframe connectors and I've run into a problem. The drivers side fits like a glove but the passenger side is another story. When I put the front cup onto the front floor support the rear part that welds to the rear torque box/frame rail it sits too low. About an inch and a half. The tech support guy at TCP told me that I should attach the front and then force the rear into place. In other words bend the crap out of the floor support and floor. Anyone else had this problem? I thought about welding the rear in place first. The front still makes more than enough contact. It's just that I have about a 1/8 inch gap between the front floor support and the bottom cup area of the subframe connector. Then I could weld a 1/8" piece of flat steel in the gap to take up the space and make it stronger in that area. Anyone have a better Idea?

I've read that most if not all weld-in subrame connectors require floor pan mods. This is why a lot of people get the bolt-on ones and then weld them on. I don't know why the bolt-on ones clear the floor pans, but apparently they do. You might consider returning them if you haven't welded them in yet.

I would tack the front, then apply a floor jack the rear and crank till it goes into place. It sounds like you are fighting a body that has been 'tweaked' at some point in its life.

I had the same problem. The sub frames touvh my floors, and when i would get one side inplace it would cause the other side to come loose, like a see saw. I tried pushing in the flores as much as i could though it didnt really help. I was replaceing th floors any how. The old floors apparently sagged much more then I thought. There fore i cut them out,they went almost right in. I had to put a dencet sized tack weld on the front then jack the back part with the X brace in place. You prob will have to hit the rear part into place with a rubbermallet and let the SF settle. Because at first when i jacked up the SF the whole rear of the car lifted up. After that i tacked the back. The welded them into place. thought there where slight gaps approxz 1/8 in gaps on the front where the SF cup the Frame rails. that can be filled with a bead. You should be fine There is alot of surface area on those SF to weld once there sit right.
