So the treasury department was good to me this year....I was planning on getting subframe connectors and a strut tower brace for my 02 GT...suggestions? Was leaning towards Ford Racing parts but if anyone knows anything else that'd be better for the money I'm open to suggestions.
I was also looking at getting the "Mustang handling kit" in the near future or anything that'd lower slightly and tighten things up a bit. Any suggestions on that?

Save your money....a strut tower brace won't do much. SFC's are a must.

The Ford kit is "ok," and you'll notice a difference, but don't expect "night/day."

You should first figure out your long term goals as far as suspension is concerned before you spend a dime.

Well really my car is currently my daily driver and will be for the next year or two. Eventually I'll get myself a beater and the stang is going to be my couple day a week car for fun and the occasional auto cross maybe.

If auto-x is in your future, then the Ford kit is definately out.

Figure out what class you want to race in, then go here:

www.griggsracing.com
www.evolutionmsport.com

Nothing else is worth a damn IMO.

So with the maximum motorsports full-length sfc's would I have to go to a non-power driver seat or what? Otherwise I'll pry just order those tonight.

nope, they have a seat brace that you have to weld to the SFC and then bolt to the seat bolts under the car when you are installing them. This way you can tailor the SFC to fit your car better.

For any suspension needs MM is the best.

Cool! It feels good to finally use this forum for what it's meant for...also what springs would you recommend for a slight drop and a little tighter feel? I was thinking the FRPP C springs with some new shocks/struts next month...

Those are what I have on my car. If you want struts and shocks on a budget, I would go with a set of mach 1 struts/shocks. They are made by tokico and valved very well for the C springs
