Subframe Connectors

I bought a 1995 GT Mustang coupe two years ago. It came with Steeda weld-in, tubular subframe connectors. I believe this is the part number: 555-5220. They just don't seem like they'd help that much.

Any hoo, would I see an improvement if I cut the standard length Steeda's off and replaced them with a full length setup like Maximum Motorsport's or Global West's with seat brackets? If so, which company should I go with?

How can you know if they help or not if they were on the car when you bought it?

There would be a difference I'm assuming. I dunno if you would notice it. I have never used the short ones. I have the Global West full lengths w/ seat brackets and there great. Just to give you something to compare to....when I jack up one end of the car (front of rear) and I open a door its as easy to shut as if it were on the ground. Also, if I put jack stands on 3 corners of the car, the 4th corner will sit in the air w/o sagging at all. You can do these tests on your car to see if its worth the money and hassle to you. If you do decide to get new SFC's MM isnt a bad choice either. GW and MM are probably the best ones you can buy.

i think you should go Global West.........and wouldn't you know i have a new set in the box (part #929). I have #929C on my vert and they're awesome
