Well, I just bought a set of BBK Subframe Connectors (with out seat supports), I know they are not 'the best' but they are better than nothing, im sure most would agree.

I plan on welding them in. I understand the car has to level, suspension compressed. So... Im thinking Jackstands on all 4 corners, rear axle and a arms. My question is, What method is best used to ensure the car is level when i weld the connectors in place? Measuring with a tape measure, or is there a good place to actually use a level? How do you guys do it?

Also, Im thinking that i may take a little bit of extra sheetmetal and create a sort of seat support and weld it to the floor pans... What do you guys think? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Figure the rake of the car while sitting by measuring height of the front and rear subframes..... Place the car on jackstands then remeasure to make sure the rake is still the same.. So short answer? Tape measure.... While you have it up and before you weld in the connectors check to make sure the car is square.. No sense in locking the frame in with connectors if the car is plumb.
