Subframe connectors?

Hey, do the 2011-2012 mustangs need subframe connectors at all? I looked under the car and it seems pretty solid from front to rear.. Just want some opinions on them because i plan on drag racing the car.

Also, im going to get the steeda ultra lite lowering springs.. how badly will they affect traction/ 60' times, even if i have lower rear control arms?

2005 - 12 cars do not require subframe connectors until they reach the 10sec E.T. area, the S197 is a very stout platform

Thanks, i heard somewhere that the s197 is like as stiff as a fox body with a cage in it? or something along the lines of that.
