im looking to buy some subframe connectors and i was just curious how hard would it be to make your own? i mean it dont look like a lot to it. Has anyone done it?
Its not too hard at all if you know where to source the metal from. Any exhaust shop can weld them up for you and some will even help fab them (we have a local one here that will). But then again they are only 50 bucks from blue oval industries.....
i know they are cheap but i was just wondering how hard it was i like to make stuff myself lol and i ave a welder in my shop so i could weld them myself also
IT all depends on it you can find the right size metal cheap enough. Then fab up some seat brackets and start welding. They're obviously a real simple idea and not difficult at all.
