Went to change my header gaskets today, spent $35 on some percy gaskets and the pass side got all screwed up due to my anger LOL, Spent 2.5 hours getting the damn pass side to line up, these BBK's suck!! They would not line back up and when I finally got it good to go and tightened back up it still leaks

So I need a replacement set, I do know that I will buy a set with the SINGLE FLANGE!!! Do yourself a favor, do not buy any that have the seperate flanges

What do you guys think of these??

I bought the Ford Racing ceramic coated shorties last year. Quality piece. Lined up perfectly.

They make BBKs with a single flange. I have them and have had them off w/o any problems whatsoever. Any header w/o a single flange I would stay away from regardless of who made it.

If you want cheap, you already got it, how are you enjoying your BBK products? Ford built the car, they make the best parts for it. Unless you like changing things every other year!

I'm probally getting the coated ford racing ones myself, I was looking at the JBA headers, really nice headers but $$, I liked the how the collectors where done on them but it would be them or the Ford's, no BBK.

Yeah i normally suggest either BBK or FMS because of the solid flange. The BBK with the solid flange are very good headers...it doesn't matter who makes the split flange headers, they all warp.

I ran a set of FRPP stainless shorties for seven years before replacing them last year with a set of coated ones for cosmetic purposes only. The stainless ones can be had for $240 from Summit. As previous mentioned, you get what you pay for. You want cheap, you'll get cheap.

Check ebay as well. I got a set of FRPP ceramics a while back for $150 plug shipping. Brand new, had all the bolts and gaskets. Deals can be had. I sold my blued chrome BBKs for $125 so I ended up with a pretty good deal.

What the hell are you talking about? BBK's have a single flange. You must not have BBK's.

It's not the brand...that's my point. BBK make good headers...it's the fact that you have individual flanges. If Jesus made headers with individual flanges they would still suck.
