Suggest a shorty header, BBK Shortys SUCK!

I didn't even know BBK made headers with individual flanges. BBK's with single flanges own. I've never had a lick of trouble with them. If you want cheap, reliable, and little hassle, get a set of the summit brand shorty's. Hit up grey5.0beast. He has a set and said they work well.

Hell yeah. I have a set of summit brand headers and they are schweet. Chrome(cuz I'm cheap) and they were 140 new. I put them back on the heads tonight and they lined up again w/o a problem!

They make BBKs with a single flange. I have them and have had them off w/o any problems whatsoever. Any header w/o a single flange I would stay away from regardless of who made it.

:nice: :nice: :nice: :nice:

Same here. I have the BBK ceramic coated shorties and have had no issues with fitment at all. definently get a single flange!! ( as a side note only thing i did to the BBK headers was grind down the hellacious amount of weld they put on the inside tube to flange)

FWIW i think full lengths with individual flanges are easier to deal with. For some reason they seem to warp less, or at the least they're easier to line up when they are warped.

They are easier to line up cause the primaries are longer and you can get more flex out of them.

I have had both BBK shorties and LTs and both sets had a single flange.
