suggestions for the best MAF meter for a bolt on 96 GT

My tuner said I could pick up about 5 to 7 Hp and torque on my car with a good meter. Could I get some suggestions for people with aftermarket MAF's. It does have to work with my fenderwell CAI kit. I was leaning towards Lightning meter and staying with my factory electrical module instead of the lightning module since it is calibrated for 42# injectors. I have all the bolt-on's like 70mm TB, CAI, PP plenum PI intake, headers, Xpipe and cat back exaust. I also have a XCAL2 tuner.

I'd have to wait for another person to chime in but I thought the MAF was good for 400 hp on our cars. Everything I've seen would say there is no reason to change your MAF. I'll let someone else take this one.

Get a different tuner . Your stock meter is fine. You shouldnt have to change it until you go with some form of forced induction.

All I can see it giving is MAYBE 1HP due to increased flow...but even then thats a stretch. Its definatly not worth upgrading.

Yall guys really dont think I could squeeze out 5 HP from a new MAF? Thats a little discourageing. Well I do need to replace my factory one. I cut out the factory air foil in the housing not knowing that it would mess up the metering of air.

i cut my meter down and didnt see 1HP on the dyno.. not worth it.. spend your cash on some gears or something else...
