First of all GET THOSE PULLLIES ON THERE!
Then since you dont want to do the h/c/i yet, maybe just an intake? Or spray it but im not sure how you feel about that. But you are kinda at the end of the road before you gotta start gettin into the engine.
Is it a auto? Do you have a shift kit? What about a convertor? If its a stick get a short throw....Pro 5.0.
i was thinking about getting a cobra upper and lower but wanted to make sure that an intake was almost one of my last option before dishing out big bucks.
yes, i have an aode and i would get a shift kit but my tranny has a warrenty on it so it would be void. I really never understood the point of putting a new converter on? How will that help me and would it void the warrenty? Im also kind o hessitant of buying one because im sure the install of one of those is mucho $$$$!! Thanks alot guys.
Definitely do the pulleys and I also recommend the intake idea. A converter helps in many ways, but most importantly is that a higher stall will allow you to launch harder and therefore enable you to leave the line much faster.
Get those pulles on there (and if it will not void your warranty) get a conveterer. To have someone install a converter, I was quoted $325-$375. For more information on how a converter would help you, take a look at Precision Industries website. Also, if you get a converter, get a trans cooler. You will need it. Actually, it's not a bad idea to get one now.
Also, on the pullies, I'm pretty sure it's a good idea to have a 180 * thermostat.
