I have been able to work quite a bit this summer and set some money back for mods. Here is the list so far. I ended up getting smoked head/fog lights from BOI. In addition, I did away with the billet grille and added a shorty antenna. Also, earlier this summer I removed the front license plate and had both bumpers, the hood, and side skirts painted (peeling clearcoat/rock chips). I also have new bulbs for the corners that are waiting to be put it, they are clear but still light up orange. I finally snapped a few pics, not the best though. I'm happy with the way it turned out. I have about ~$200 left, if you can think of anything else let me know. I am considering going with some Siverstars for better lighting, and also an Envoy fog light swap, but not sure yet. Let me know what you think.

I can't stand to go any lower. It is my daily driver, and I already have to be careful about scraping the bottom. I actually can barely get up my driveway as it is (cattle guard). I have really debated wheels, but 18's are not an option because I am not gonna pay an extra $300 for tires when I am driving it as much as I am. I just can't find any 17's that I like THAT much more than stock. Although many say no, I am tempted to look at some 17x9 Saleens. First on the list is 95 Cobra R's. All I know is that if I do get rims, they will be chrome. Part of me says thank you guys, the other part says dang you, look where my money is going, I don't think I will ever be able to stop on this car. I appreciate the comments, any other suggestions on future mods? I am happy with power and suspension, really only the appearance that I want to work on. I was gonna do LT headers or possibly subframes, but I can't find a place to install them. Thanks again.

While they are not horrid, 95 Cobra R wheels in chrome have been done so much (more so on Foxes) that I stopped liking thoes wheels last year. I also just dont like chrome wheels but they do seem to go well with Mystic Cobras :nice:

I would go with hypercoated Saleens in a stagered setup with some 315s out back. That would look sick on that car

LaserSVT, that is my problem, I can't decide on rims. While the 95 R's have been done a lot overall, a Mustang with any decent rims is rare around here. Most are stock, some have some rims that are ugly as can be. Even with staggard, I'm looking at about $200 more every time I buy new rear tires. If I get 17's, I can use my current tires which are in good shape. Before I did staggared I would do 18's all around, price is the main factor and it isnt much different. 17 Saleens are calling my name. I saw some pics of Mustangs with them, looked good imo. I know many hate them, but out of the 17's, they look better and arent everywhere like the other rims. I would appreciate any input on wheels. They will probably be the next mod, so my $200 is gonna get set back for now, and hopefully I will have enough for rims before long. Thanks.

Would I like to do the 18's out back, yeah. However, I have priced tires and they are ~$100 more per tire when compared to tires for my stock rims (or 17x9 rims period). I'm not willing to spend that much on tires, so any 18 is out. That is my biggest problem when looking at rims. I have yet to find a 17 that I like more than the stock ones, or at least enough to justify cost.

I used to really love me Cobra wheels after I wrapped them in 285/40 all the way around. The grip was unbelievable and she really hooked off the line :nice:
I wanted 1/2 spacer for the rear and it woulda been perfect IMO
So you can get good rear wheel spacers for under $200 and that would really enhance the lines on that car.

Spacers are something I have considered. I may end up doing that. would 1/2 inch be sufficient? As said, I really like the stock rims, and I could do some good tires that would help with traction, so win win versus spending all my money on new wheels and using my Nittos. What size tire should I run on stock rims if I go that route? Thanks, I appreciate your input.

285/40 is the biggest I have ever seen and in the pics you can see how they looked. I had Nitto 555 in back and Goodyear GS-C up front. 1/2" spacer in the rear is all thats needed. On my Cobra they wouldnt rub with the 1/2" and I would widen the rear just right IMO :nice:
