super sport vs super race

Super sports are the way to go!
Don't go with the Race springs UNLESS you plan on ONLY racing with them!
the Drop on hte race springs is HUGHE!
the H&R Super Sports are as much as you will want I'm sure!
Are you drunk?

The drop from the Race springs is not huge. The spring rates are nice, however I've heard on the 99+ mustangs that they make the back look lower than the front. The Super Sports won’t handle as good as the Race springs but you will get a bigger drop. The Super Race springs are pretty stiff and might get annoying if your car is a daily driver.

YA just like I said!
DUH!

well i follow the whole "function over form" thing, so the drop amount dont really matter, the whole daily driver thing does a little bit, i was at the website, and the race springs seem to be set up more for drag, and i want to get into SCCA touring, im really concerned about how stiff the super race springs are going to be

I have a Mach. I'm unsure @ this juncture what category I should even be looking in. I'll probably contact Tech tomorrow cuz I don't want to lose a lot of my ride quality but I do intend to lower the vehicle & improve handling some. My wife will hate me if I make this car's spring rate as harsh as my 2K GT w/ 2" lowering Eibach Sportlines. It was harsh but I liked it that way. I don't want my Mach to be too harsh though because it'll slow down my launch. Right now the springs are loose, which allows better rear weight transfer on launch.

I agree with Halcyon_Dolour. So, in my best Butthead impersonation *cough* *cough*..."Uh.....no."

Straight from H&R's site:

Sport F 1.6 R 1.5
SS F 1.75 R 1.6
Race F 1-1.75 R .75-1.25
S Race F 1-1.75 R .75-1.25

Depending on how much your particular car settles, the Race and Super Race aren't going to be as low as the Super Sports. So unless "HUGHE" is German for "not as low as Super Sports" and not a meant as "huge", then that is incorrect. Most cars that I have seen with H&R Race springs are only as low as most cars with Steeda Sport or FRPP C-springs.
