i just bought a vortech charger and have my car apart Heades dropped/no throttle bodt/ign wires/fan/alt/rad. do i need all this off to put the supper charger on? i took it all of to pull the enigne but bought a charger instead. should i put it back on?

lol well I doubt you were pulling the engine for nothing. Is there something wrong with your engine? As they say, build a good foundation and build on that. If something is wrong dude, i'd fix that and then throw the blower on. To answer your question, yeah, you'll need your car together (at least heads, intakes, etc on to put the blower on. My powerdyne had a bracket to relocate the alternator, not sure how the vortech's are set up. How many psi are you gonna be pushing? Might consider getting some good quality head gaskets. A lot of guys have and/or are currently using Fel Pro 1011-2's. Right now i'm running SCE Pro Seal #536084 copper gaskets, but i've heard they have leaking problems, so I also have a set of Fel Pro 1011-2's for a backup, but hopefully I won't need them.

Yes I would put the heads (need to) and the exhaust back on the car. The Vortechs use a big main bracket that will bolt to the block and head on the passenger side, it relocates the air pump, alt and tensioner. I would also drop in the lower intake, it gets crowded quickly and it will be much easier to get the lower intake and therostat housing on while the blower is OFF the car.

Good Luck
