For those who have installed a Vortech on their cars, how much tuning was needed to get reliable driveability? From what I have read, an untuned Vortech at stock boost will make at most 330whp at 6000rpm.

For those with a Kenne Bell, it seems like the issues are less frequent. Is this true or just perceived? An untuned KB will make about the same power, but with more below the curve.

The biggest hurdle with either setup, is tuning. There are guys who love to tinker with their TwEECer all the time. What I want is to just drive the car and not think about any settings. The OBD-II cars have some really slick and easy and CHEAP options for tuning. What is the simplest and most reliable tuning option for a 94-95?

a dyno tune and a chip. It's not worth supercharging a car unless you get it tuned properly. you spend 3k on a setup, whats another $300 on proper operation and piece of mind the engine isn't going to blow
