Supercharger question

I have an 04 GT with exhaust, shifter and cold air intake. Im thinking about adding either a vortech or pro-charger to my stang. If I went with a small boost level such as 8 psi, would my motor be safe ? I have heard that with 8 and over that its not if the motor going to blow, but when?

it would be safe if you dont go lean.. iv seen people run 15 PSI on a stock block..

Really depends on the tune. If you get a pro to tune it, you will have no problems up to ~400rwhp
