supercharger sitting ok?

can a blower sit uninstalled for months and still be ok?

i see guys buying blowers that have been sitting on the garage floor for months and months. is this ok to run if the blower was in good working order when it was taken out?
just wondering ...im going new but even then it will be sitting in the box for who knows how long at the wearhouse.

I don't know why not. Im sure the blowers aren't built to order and prolly sit in a stockroom for months.

I have a blower installed on my 96 that sits and is not started for 6-8 months at a time. No difference than having it just sit on the garaged floor. My car has been running fine since I supercharged it in 2004.

(Oh...just make sure no mice made a nest in there. You wouldn't want the poor little guys getting chopped up by the impeller!!!)
