so while im waiting to what the deal is from insurance, ive been considering what to get if the car ends up totalled.

first off id like to pick up a 306 car. and then id love to go with a supercharger.

so my question is which supercharger is most efficient and beneficial to the 5.0 motor and which produces the most power?
i wont have cash to get a KB, but in terms of vortech, procharger, or the paxton, which is best? and why?

Was that cowl hood in your sig the one that trashed your car? Its a message from God: Don't put a big cowl on your Fox unless you really need it. :D

With that said, I've heard good things about the Paxton Novi.

Yes it is. And of that was the case no one would have cowl hoods unless they had a 460 or a tall intake. I like the look. But yes that hood is dead now

What's the big allure for the 306? All a 306 means is that the cylinder walls needed work when it was rebuilt. Four cubes of displacement means absolutely nothing. Not to be a dick, but it always irks me when someone brags about a 306 or talks about wanting one, doesn't make much sense.

Concerning your post: you can't go wrong with any of the brands you mentioned, honestly. As far as the Procharger is concerned, I've heard horror stories about their customer service and some of their headunits suffering from oil starvation and seizing up right out of the box. There are a few threads on Corral about it. A Novi or Vortech would be killer. Good luck!

88mm turbo is overkill for what he's doing. Yeah it will support a lot of power but depending on the hotside it would take forever to spool. If you want to go turbo and don't want a ball bearing ($$) then just get a master power t70. The hotsides are interchangable and can make it a low spool torque monster or a high rpm track screamer. This turbo is more than capable of destroying your block also..
