I have been thinking about getting the Superchips MicroTuner for my 97 auto GT. The main reasons i want it is to firm up the shifts, change the shift points and have the fan kick on sooner. I've done a search and i can't find anyone who has it on their 96-98
I bought one that is for the wrong year!!!!!! They dont make one for 04 yet... the one I got is for 96-03...if you are interested, give me your email, I dont wanna solicit on Stangnet!!
I have one. I don't have an auto though. I run the performance calibration and it really opens it up thru the entire rpm especially up high. Questions?
I had one on an 01GT I had. I liked it. Firmed up the shifts, changed shift points, turned fan on sooner plus used the performance program and recal for the 4.10 gears I had installed. When I traded the car in I took the program out and it felt alot more sluggish.
i'm looking for someone that has one one on an auto 96-98 because i know certain years there are certain things that you can't control and i was just making sure that you can control the shifting points and shifting firmness.
