i'm tired of the 4x4 look, so im getting a set of springs. i found a good deal on some h&r supersports, but im planning on installing longtubes in the next month or two and dont want to scrape the hell out of them. the h&r website says the SS's give a 1.75" drop in the front, and the Sports only drop about 1.6". what ever shall i do?

with the coil overs i'm sitting at about 2" lower than stock, possibly a touch lower. i have no problems with scraping, but you'll hear of some people scraping. i guess it all depends on where you live

Ive got Sportlines (lowered my front 2.5") and I dont scrape too bad. Only on big speedbumps and steep driveways. Now Ive got 4cyl fox body springs cut 1/2 coil in the front and its dropped 1/2" lower now. You just gotta be careful. If the SS's drop 1.75" in the front you should be good.
