Ok, so I'm changing the gasket right now, and I'm cleaning the surfaces, but the gasket is on there like a mutherfuucker, is their any thing I can spray on and leave for a little bit to help make it come off easier?

Do you think rubbing alcohol would be ok?

Are we talking about a block deck
or
a thermo housing

Any kind of description would be helpful ... like

Are we talking about Steel or Aluminum surfaces

What are you working on?

I have an elec dremel, and it started cutting into the metal, and with the header still next to the head, I don't want metal shavings flying around.

This **** is a REAL BIITCH man, I've been scraping it with a flathead and a utility knife and I'm having NO LUCK!

Anybody?

Go to a parts store and get gasket remover. It comes in an arosol can. It won't work magic, but may help some.
