surging problem help needed

Yeah I know I did actually look in the surging idle checklist before I posted this.

Here's my problem, At idle, with the AC running the car idles fine at about 800 rpm. When I turn the AC off, the idle starts to surge from about 800 to 900 RPM. I did try playing with the throttle set screw butI don't really want the car idling at 1200 RPM to fix the issue. I'm vexxed by this one because it seems as though I can hear some sort of solenoid or something opening and closing on the passenger side of the engine compartment near the low pressure (a guess) AC return line. I just recently had the AC converted over to 134A. I had no issues before that cause I had no AC. Can anyone give me an idea of what it could be before I go back to my mechanic and make him fix whatever it was he screwed up? Thx.

Did you dump the codes? What did you get?

No codes, then do the base idle set proceedure at the end of the first part of the Surging Idle Checklist.

looks like it was the cold air intake not properly installed back into position. I pulled it off and it's idling fine now with and without AC on. Thanks for the response

actually it looks like its a bad AC relay. It keeps cycling on and off after it seems to get some heat buildup on it. I did jiggle the wires and it did stop for a bit but as soon as it got hot again it started making the engine surge.
