I recently put my new engine in and can not get it to run right. This started the day I was taking out my old engine. The engine would surge between 650-1100 rpm's, but will hold idle if you keep the gas down. Then if you give it gas fast it will stumble while slowly raising rpms, and if you slowly gas it it will slowly raise rpms. It was bad the day we took my engine out, but with the new one it is really bad.

I am out of ideas. What shop/person/ act of god can help me. I am willing to pay what ever; I just want it fixed. I do not want someone to go in there and just throw parts at it, I can do that.

With the new engine it has new injectors, fuel pump, regulator, maf, plugs, wires, ect. Most of the sensors are from the old engine, and the throttle body is the same. Pretty much everything else has been changed.

okay here is the setup..

90mm lighting maf, 42pd injectors, 255 walboro, t-rex, aermotive regulator, 306, ported trick flow high port heads, anderson b-41 cam, probe 1.7rr, tf streat heat intake, stock cobra 65mm throttle body, vortec sq-trim, 10 or 12 pound pulley, upr power pipe, sct piggy back computer. That should round it out.

the timing is at 10 degrees. That is what jon tuned the sct puter for

hoping for 13's

The cars idle is sat at around 1k.

I unplugged the piggy back puter and retried things. It started fine, and idled much better. Very little surge, but then it would not rev up at all
