I've been wondering for a while now that since I found my stock shifter handle in the trunk underneath the spare tire, if the previous owner before me had not only changed the shifter handle but the whole shifter as well. I checked today (after having the car for about 4 months now) and found that I do in fact have a Steeda Tri-Ax Short throw Shifter! Not a bad surprise at all. Question I have now is what else has this guy done to the car that I really would not notice at first, could there be a new chip in there? Pullies? What I'm wondering here is if any of you guys know of a good way to tell if I have aftermarket pullies or not, whether there are measurements, or just what the stock 01 Cobra pullies happen to look like. I don't have a digital camera, so I can't really take some good pictures to show you guys, but IMO, they do look aftermarket after what I've seen on some of my friends GT's.

The easiest way to see if an aftermarket chip has been installed is to open the glovebox, squeeze the sides of the glovebox so it opens completely (and allows you to see inside the upper kick panel area), and, with a flashlight, look on the right side - you can see the computer and should be able to see if there's a chip attached.
