I am looking to finish up my suspension project in the next couple of weeks.
So far I have installed:
MM full length subframe connectors
MM Strut tower brace
Have and waiting to install:
EBC Sport rotors & Green stuff pads
Hotchkis caster camber plates
The crisis is springs. I need to order a spring/strut & shock package, and it seems that every day I get up I have decided on a different setup.
Before you guys throw a suggestion my way, this car will never see the track. It will not see autoX or dragstrip duty. Just the twisty mountain roads of Tennessee
Right now I am leaning towards H&R Race springs (Recommended by Maximum Motorsports) The H&R Supersports will give it a lower stance in the rear
For the Shocks and Struts, I was thinking Bilsteins or Tokico Illumina's.
Is anyone running these? If so please let me know your experiance with them... Or I may be overlooking a different combo. I don't want the slammed look, just to get rid of the F150 stance. I am interested in mainly ride quality and performance. This project is a performance upgrade, but being 43 years old my tolerance for a log truck ride quality is pretty low. Plus we sometimes take the car on weekend trips.
Sorry for the long question, but I am stuck. And you guys have always gave it to me straight when I asked.
BTW it is a convertible
Thanks in advance.
