Suspension Install

Hey I just bought some Bilstein HD shocks and struts and H&R Race springs for the stang as well as KYB shocks and struts with new OEM replacement springs for my taurus as well. I was looking through Mustang World's writeup on installing springs, shocks and struts. I was wondering if the procedure would be similar on the Taurus as well. This will be my first time installing suspension parts. Thanks for the help.

taurus is completely different. the taurus has struts all the way around. you need a special tool to remove the bottom of hte strut from the car. they use a pinch bolt on the taurus. also with that taurus you will need a spring compresor designed for macphearson struts.

for thr taurus what will be easier would be to buy new spring isolators and strut mounts and have those preassembled so there will be less downtime.
