suspension interchangability

i just picked up some sway bars for my turbostang, and plan on doing a budget suspension upgrade consisiting of shocks and springs.

my question is, what year(s) mustang shocks and springs will fit my '89? reason being i've heard alot of mixed things about new GT parts fitting and what not. just wandering so i dont waste my time and money on something that wont fit.

fyi, i have an 89lx 4-cyl w/ 88 TC motor.

Well if you still have the smaller 4-cyl brakes ande spindles I think your choices are going to be limited. I tried to put my TC's PRC struts on my 90 Notch before I swapped the spindles and they would not fit. I do believe that you may find aftermarket struts that will fit both, but not factory stuff.

Give you a good excuse to swap on SN95 spindles and brakes along with the struts and get better braking and a 5-bolt setup all in one shot
