For anyone out there that has been to this point, please help.
I am looking at replacing the worn OEM suspension for the front/ rear end of my 67 coupe. I have seen in magazines kits like Grab-a-Trak that run about $500 for new leafs, springs, shackles, shocks, sway bar, end links and bushings. I dont think i want to go as expensive as coil over.
It has a 347/ C4 in it and will mainly be a street cruiser/ daily driver in nice weather. I dont expect to see the track too often (cause my wife wont let me) so what can anybody suggest? Is there a better kit out there? What do they usually cost and is it that much of a hassle to put it on after the vehicle is assembled?
I was thinking of doing power steering too (its expensive) so if anyone has any ideas on that im all ears.
Thanks.
