Hey I'v'e got a 67' coupe. Dropping a 331 in and I should have close to 380-400hp at the crank. Rear-end is done and I have front disc brakes. What are essential suspension mods for traction? I've seen packages for around 400$ that come with sway bars, springs and shocks. Some suggestions would help as this is the first suspension upgrade I'll have ever done.

starting at the rear, i would use a 5 leaf spring with either traction masters under ride bars, or cal tracs. one more thing, add a 3/4" rear bar.

at the front i would use the 540in/lb springs with replacement upper arms, roller spring perches, roller bearings in the lower arms, and a 1 1/8" front bar.

of course you will want 4 wheel disc brakes as well.

and dont forget the subframe connectors.
