Suspension Parts List: What am I forgetting??? replacing stock stuff

I have finally got my suspension parts list together, but I'm afraid I may have missed an item or two. So far, the list below will cost me around $800. Currently, my suspension is bone stock and feeling very worn.

Here's the list:

Bullitt Suspension Kit (shocks/struts/springs/sways)
Energy Suspension's Spring Isolators (all four)
Quad Shocks
MM C/C plates
MM or BBK Endlink Set w/urethane bushings
Energy Supension's Front Control Arm Bushings (urethane)
IF NEEDED: MM aluminum steering rack bushing

Have I missed something important or essential? I am not sure what other bushings there are, so I would consider adding a couple things if it doesn't raise the price much.

To clarify things, I know there are other things I need like gears, but that will come after the suspension project is complete. All suspension parts will be purchased and installed by the end of May. This is just the beginning.

save up a little more money. you can buy a kit from energy suspension with every bushing for the whole car for $200. way cheaper than gettin em all seperately.

I thought about the full bushing kit, but I think I at least need to replace the enklinks and A-arm bushings to go along with the other stuff. From what I've read, replacing the endlinks and a-arm bushings with the other major suspension stuff is a big plus and it will allow for a better alignment. Plus, to do the front springs and shocks, the a-arms are already accessible.

Rear control arms are definitely in the plans, but not till mid-summer. I've read a lot on this subject, but still not sure if for a daily driven car, if there is any negatives to replacing uppers and lowers with aftermarket ones (including better bushings). Is there a downside to driveability or safety when upgrading rear LCA's and UCA's?

Several places sell all four rear control arms in a kit for around $200, so that will definitely be in my price range this summer.

What about sub frame connectors? Everything you do to your suspension is going to be limited by the twist you get from the body. They're cheap, and make a world of difference.

I already have a set of Kenny Brown subs. They were a great mod. I figure with those in place, my overall benefit from my suspension upgrades will be even better.

I got the complete bushing kit though I figured it wouldn't hurt to replace them all!!!!!

I didn't order the quad shocks though I was told they wern't necessary with the bullitt shocks and struts, was I misinformed?????

Quads for me are only $31.00 each, so I figure why not. I don't think you were misinformed, but I don't think it would hurt to have them replaced.

I may delay my installation a week or two, so that I can include the complete bushing kit from Energy Suspension. I think I'm convinced now that it would be better to get it all done at one time.

Donny, are you doing the install yourself? I may have a local place do it, T&J (aka, modular ford powerhouse), because I believe they can also do a good alignment. I know they can install all of the suspension parts CORRECTLY without the hassle and problems usually found with chain shops. Plus, mods is their business and they specialize in Mustangs. I'd rather pay to get it done right the first time, rather than fart around with it myself. Depending on the installation costs, I may have to contact a couple other shops around here that specialize in Mustangs.

I have a buddy that is a race car machanic that is gonna install everything for me!!!

I would attempt it myself but I work 80 hours a week and have little time to spend in the garage!!!

I'm definitely going with the complete Energy Suspension Kit since it is only $80 more than what I was already getting. Hopefully, it will be easy enough to figure out where each bushing goes. This should improve things even more than originally planned.

Dugan Racing used to be a great shop that could do just about anything, but now they are just mail order. I may check around there to see if some of there mechanics started their own business (for a second price quote).
