i thought about going with the street heat package from mustangs+, and it said the 620 springs would lower the front about an inch. how does this work with long tubes WITH power steering that requires the drop bracket? should i go ahead and get the 1 inch lowering leaf springs for the rear to even it out?

if you're running the original worn coils in front right now, it probably won't really lower it that much form where it currently sits.

For the rear, you can use new stock springs with a 1" lowering block, or use mideye springs to lower it an inch to match the front.

I bought the 620s for up front and the 5 leaf mid-eyes for the rear and it sits pretty darn good. The rear is a little higher though, it just needs some more driving to settle.

well if i use the 1 inch drop leafs, and the 620 springs which could not lower that much, wont it sit kinda funny? liek a reverse drag setup (front higher then back) ?

Get the rear where you want it and then cut the front coils to whatever you desire. It is one of those time consuming jobs to do but it will turn out real nice. Go with at least mid eye on the rear. I have reverse eyes and a 1 1/2 inch lowering block on mine. (Hint, get at least one 12 pack to do this job).

Photo has been up before but this is what you get with reverse eyes and 1 1/2 in lowering blocks.

Tape measure through the rear axle up to the top of the rear fender is 34" (that is why she hauls ass going around corners)

heh, a 12 pack is illegal for my age lol. are there long tubes on yours historic? hows it go on speed bumps/something similar lol.

She has not yet bottomed out at Daytona or Lowes or Atlanta but have not been over too many speed bumps. My headers (hooker) are tucked up under the frame rails pretty good. The exhaust pipes are actually lower than the headers!

This is what mine looks like with 620s with nothing cut off and 5 leaf mid eyes in the rear. This is before the racing shackles that counter acts the leafs to raise it up about an inch. I can drop it back down an inch though as it has 2 settings. Oh and I have hookers as well. if you look right below my door hing you can see the ball flange of my exhaust.

You may want to double check that you didn't get the 720's. They are a taller spring. What insulator did you use the 1" or the 1/4"???
