suspension set up advise plz

If you get tokicos, get the 5-way adjustables. For lower control arms, look at Maxium Motorsports (www.maximummotorsports.com) or Pro3i (stangnet's www.partshopper.com free shipping now i think). MM recommends the Ford racing Uppers with their LCA's and Pro3i has a UCA as well. You can get the Ford racing UCA for like 65 bucks, but it looks very similar to the stock one, but i'm sure the bushing is a little different. The census I've gotten from the suspension guru's is that sway bars don't make that much of a difference, and that if you really want to stop swaying in the rear, go with a Panhard Bar (MM or www.griggsracing.com).

I love my Eibachs I have the pro-kit and I wouldn't want it any lower cause then you will run into a bunch of probs such as bumpsteer and c/c plates and also rubbing if you have or want bigger tires and wheels. Check out the pics on my webpage below. I only lowered it 1.5 inches and it looks good.

I just finalized my setup, and will start purhasing in pieces mid february. MM coilovers (hypercoils and bilstines), MM full length subframes, Pan hard bar, Torque Arm bar, Lower control arms.

this setup is about the best you can get for the rear. between the Torque arm and the pan hard bars you no longer have a need for the upper control arms. the axel no need of them since the drift as been reduced so greatly.

the coilovers was something i was against in the begining, but finally understood why so many peoplle backed them. the bilstine/hypercoil combo by MM created a firm yet forgiving ride, so its not like a go kart, but you gain a stellar cornering responce. plus the ability to raise and lower the car when needed to adjust to your driving habits allows for you to pick where you want the center of balance. very nice.

I guess it comes down to, why do you want to do the suspension? just to lower the car? want to take it to a road course? maybe do autocross? mountain racing? just desiring a more firm ride?

every application has a recomendation. and for me, i want the ability to go mountain racing, but still not get yanked around on a speed bump.... so hypercoil springs for regidity, bilstines for comfort... great combo.

the Tokikos shocks are very nice, and usually go well with HR springs. if you just want a light drop with some slight handeling improvements then i'm sure yu will be happy with the tokiko/eibach route. just let us know exactly what you want the suspension for and maybe we can help you choose the right combo for you.

I have STEEDA adjustable upper and lower control arms, 4 bolt C/C plates, X2 balljoints, offset steeringrack bushings, energy suspension poly spring isolators, strange 10 way adjustable shocks and struts and it handles great.

those coilovers will cost out the ass!!

I recommend H&R and Bilstein as well. Eibachs are known to sag. Maybe you'll get lucky

I think it was mrvax who had problems with sagging on three different sets of Eibach springs...I'm definitely going with the H&Rs when I do mine...

I thought my Eibachs started to sag a bit then I realosed it was the isolators and not the springs so I replaced them with energy suspension and they are all perfect...

h&r super sports, bilsteins and mm caster camber plates are a great combo. looks great and handles like your on rails.

and in a couple days im going to order
Tokico Blues
H&R SS Springs
X2 balljoints

Im mainly looking for a nice drop, and i dont go nuts around corners so the blues are fine for me.
