Well Im slowly gathering performance parts for my conversion. I would like the car to handle very well, but still be streetable without making adjustments.
I just ordered Pro3i street/race lcas and Ford racing Uppers. I heard a lot of good things about this combo. Can I remove the quad shocks once these are installed? Looks like there will be a little more room for wheels/tires.

While on the topic of rear suspension does anyone have any other advice on mods I should do? I was gonna also get urethane spring isolaters. Should I get any other urethane bushings for the rear? How about junkyard swaybar upgrades?

I was gonna go with Blisteins HD shocks/struts and match them with H+R super sports or the maximum street performance. Is there any difference between these two? Which would match the HD's better? I'm leaning towards the super sports because Ive heard a lot of good things about them. Have never heard anything about the mm street performance.

I know after changing the height of the car that there should be an alignment What caster/camber plates would you go with? I was thinking pro3i's beings their lca's dont have much if any bad reviews.

I plan on doing homemade through the floor subframe connectors. I read that the car should have the suspension loaded (how it sits with everything in it.) Can I do that By putting the front up on ramps(theyre sturdy as all hell) and put jack stands under the axle housing? If so does the car have to be level or just have everything evenly loaded?

Im getting the FR manual quick ratio kit. Does it come with bushings? If not should I got with stock rubber, urethane or alumiunum bushings?

Anything taht would be good to polyurethane up front? It looks like the front sway bar is pretty beefy so that prolly doesnt need an upgrade.

I definatley plan on upgrading the motor mounts and tranny mounts to prothane/energy mounts. read nothing but good things about them.

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for such a long post and thank you for any response.

The first thing you may want to do is pick up the book "Mustang Performance 2 by Mathis" which covers suspension modifications for street and racing and has a lot of plans to make things.I got mine off ebay but it is available through various book dealers. It is an excellent book which cuts through a lot of the BS so you aren't wasting time and money and will allow you to better prioritize based on your budget. It is not on your list, but you may consider adding some lower torque box reinforcements when you do your lower control arms. There is a Stangnet member who sells some or the plans are available on the internet.I have welded in a few sets of subframe connectors and what I did was put the front wheels on ramps, axle stands under the rear axle and made sure the car was level.

I actually just ordered that book. It looks like a lot of people find it useful. Do you know who sells these plans and how much are they? I would be interested in them. Thanks for your reply.

I got my plans from this site http://www.pomoforacing.com/tech/ I went down to the local scrap yard and picked up some 1/8" flat plate in the correct width and also some triangular gusset pieces so the actual cost to make them was minimal and all I had to do was cut the pieces to length and make one 90 deg bend.I made a carbboard set first just to make sure they fit OK and then transferred the dimensions and bolt locations to the metal plate.
